Yesterday, my inner GPS feeling was walk the other direction outside of Hassilabied. There are always surprises on my adventures. I walked out beyond the village, first to greet my camels. All the camels are mine, by sheer love! I am in love with them! Then I walked out into the open desert, the part where it is mostly bare, and when you look down you see black volcanic rock on top of brown hard earth. And there I noticed quartz crystals here and there! I paused at a mud earth home dwelling in construction. Leaning against one wall was a French women knitting. She glanced up at me with delighted eyes. Then Anya came with her infant and we introduced each other.
I found my like-minded people! Anya wants to host people for meditation and chanting and dancing also! Here at the entry to the Sahara, I found my like-minded people. This is the magic of attraction!
Enjoy the pictures of a view of Hassilabied from the outskirts.
